Bike Shop

A bike shop is the perfect place to find and try out a variety of new or used bikes. They often have the latest models of both mountain and road bikes as well as a selection of more user friendly rides such as commuter bikes and cruisers. The large selection of different bikes and sizes, along with a often knowledgeable staff makes them a wonderful place to choose a new bicycle.

A bike shop also carriers a number of replacement and upgradeable components such as front and rear derailleur’s, brakes, grips, handle bars, top tubes, tire tubes, tires, pumps, wheels, spokes, hubs, wire, front and rear suspension, pedals, chain rings, gears, and chains. These can easily be replaced or added to almost any bike for a better ride.

Most cities and towns have at least one bike shop, though many cities such as Portland Oregon have them seemingly on every corner. It is a popular form of transportation that is both fulfilling and productive. In many cities it can be much faster than taking a car or bus and finding a place to park a bike is much easier as well.
